Looking for a fun and relaxed celebrant for your wedding day?
My name’s Lisa, and I’m a professional celebrant with the irish Institute of Celebrants. As well as being a mom, a teacher and a musciain, I’m a big fan of a wedding and love a love story. having been witness to a variety of different ceremonies from the perspectives of guest and musician, I realised that what often made ceremonies truly special was their personal touch. Coming from a creative background, I thought that I could help couples bring their love stories to life in a way that feels authentic, heartfelt and entirely their own.
Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural step, combining my love for people, my attention to detail and my belief that every couple deserves a ceremony that reflects who they are. I want to create ceremonies that are as unique and meaningful as the couples I work with, coming from a love of storytelling and connection.

What I Offer:
-
Your wedding day is one of the most important moments of your life, and as your celebrant, my goal is to help you create a ceremony that reflects your love, values, and unique story. Whether you envision an intimate, personal ceremony or a grand, romantic celebration, I will guide you through every step of the process to ensure it’s everything you’ve dreamed of—and more!
-
I work closely with you to design a ceremony that is personal, meaningful, and truly reflects who you are as a couple. From vows to rituals, every element can be tailored to your vision, ensuring that your ceremony feels authentic and special.
-
I provide guidance throughout the planning stages, helping you with timing, ceremony flow, and any special touches you wish to include. As a musician, I can also assist with music choices or musician recommendations for the day.
-
Add meaningful elements to your ceremony with personalized rituals such as handfasting, sand ceremonies, or unity candles. I’ll help you incorporate traditions that align with your cultural or spiritual beliefs.
-
While based in Cork City, I am more than happy to accomodate weddings throughout the island of Ireland.

As a celebrant, I can craft an intimate and personalised wedding ceremony for you and your partner to honour your marriage union. However, as I am not yet a registered solemniser, you would have to complete the legal part seperately.
This would mean:
First, you would need to make an appointment to give notice of your intention to marry. This has to happen a minimum of three months before your wedding date, and you would need to bring photo ID, birth certs, proof of address and a fee of €200 to this appointment. They will ask you at this appointment for the date and location of your wedding, as well as the celebrant/solemniser. They are looking for the legal signing date, and the solemniser/celebrant will be a member of the HSE staff in the Registry Office.
You would then need to make a second appointment (at no charge) to return and sign the legal marriage certificate. Yourself, your partner and two witnesses attend this appointment, where you would simply recite a set of legal vows and sign the marriage papers. It typically takes 8-15 mins, so no fanfare involved!

My fee for all of the above is €400, without travel, which will be calculated based on distance.
